Shipping and Collection

1. How Our Collection Model Works

Bush Billabongs operates a self-service pickup model. We do not deliver products directly to your door. Instead, we maintain a network of regional pickup yards across New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria where customers collect their purchased products.

2. Selecting a Pickup Location

When placing your order, you will be asked to choose from available pickup locations. Pickup locations are listed on our website with their general region. Specific address and access instructions will be provided in your order confirmation email.

If no pickup location is available near you, please contact us before ordering and we will advise on the nearest option or alternative arrangements.

3. Collection Booking

After your order is confirmed and payment is received, you will receive an email with your pickup location address, available collection days and hours, your order reference number, and any specific site instructions such as check-in procedures.

Some pickup locations require an appointment. Where an appointment is required, you must book your collection time before attending.

4. What to Bring

• A suitable vehicle: ute, trailer, or truck capable of safely transporting a 1500L septic tank
• Tie-down straps and any required securing equipment
• Your order confirmation or reference number
• Photo identification

5. Loading Assistance

Most pickup locations have forklift facilities and staff who can assist with loading your tank onto your vehicle. However, this is subject to the yard's staff availability and equipment. Bush Billabongs cannot guarantee loading assistance at all locations. Please confirm loading arrangements when booking your collection.

6. Collection Timeframe

You must collect your order within 14 days of receiving your collection notification. If you require an extension, please contact us in advance.

Orders not collected within 30 days of the nominated collection date may be cancelled and refunded less a $100 AUD restocking fee, in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

7. Risk During Transport

Risk of damage or loss passes to you at the point of collection. Bush Billabongs is not responsible for any damage that occurs during transport from the pickup yard to your property. We recommend securing the tank properly and driving with care.

8. Interstate and Remote Areas

Our pickup network is expanding. If you are located in an area not currently served by a pickup location, contact us to discuss options. In some cases, we may be able to arrange freight to a depot near you, though additional freight charges may apply and will be quoted before you confirm your order.
